Marking the 42nd anniversary of Roe v Wade, hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers marched up Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C.

The Green family, the owners of the business, were faced with two options: To violate their consciences by providing abortion-inducing drugs to their employees, as demanded by the HHS mandate under Obamacare, or refuse to comply and pay exorbitant fines to the government. The Greens filed a lawsuit instead. And today, as their case was heard at the Supreme Court, pro-lifers and conservative leaders and activists prayed and rallied to support the Green family for upholding their moral principles. TFP Student Action volunteers played bagpipes and held a banner, "God's Law Comes First -- Repeal Socialist Obamacare," as well as signs such as "Real Americans Support Hobby Lobby!" #supreme #court

On March 25, amid a constant snowfall, TFP Student Action volunteers attended a rally at the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. to support Hobby Lobby's legal challenge agianst the HHS mandate.

On March 10, hundreds of pro-lifers gathered in downtown Annapolis for the annual Maryland March for Life. Ryan Bomberger was the keynote speaker and everyone in attendance was highly motivated to continue opposing the sin of abortion in our beloved land.

Share this video. http://www.tfpstudentaction.org/ This annual March for Life marked the forty-first anniversary of Roe v Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that paved the way for 56 million surgical abortions in America. Since its legal inception, the sin of abortion has inflicted nothing but massive wounds on the family and society: missing generations of children, lost motherhood, dishonored fatherhood, shattered homes, depression, never-ending regret and moral decay, not to mention those "houses of horror" run by the ungodly likes of Kermit Gosnell. Planned Parenthood is Worried But the Culture of Death is losing ground. According to a study by Operation Rescue, a record number of 87 abortion clinics have closed down in 2013. Another telling survey published by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute has tracked over 200 legislative losses for the abortion industry over the last three years. In fact, more abortion restrictions were passed by state legislatures in 2011-2013 than in the previous ten years combined. That is why Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, speaking of recent legislation restricting abortions in Texas, voiced her concern to The New York Times on January 3: "Any one of the restrictions passed in the last several years would be bad, but taken together, we are witnessing a catastrophe for Texas women," she said. While pro-lifers literally covered Capitol Hill, dozens of smaller marches were held at regional or state levels. This type of innovation is what NARAL doesn't want. The Walk for Life in San Francisco (of all places) is a good example of the vitality and dynamism of the pro-life movement. It just keeps growing. Last year 55,000 attended. And when this march first started in 2005, the president of Golden Gate Planned Parenthood, Dian Harrison, was a bit stunned: "We couldn't believe that they had the nerve to come to San Francisco." God bless that nerve. The more the better. That same noble resolve to defend the unborn, employing every peaceful and legal means, was written on the faces of the many marchers today as they braved the bone-chilling frost. Bishops and priests, veteran activists, seasoned side-walk counselors, pro-life leaders, dedicated prayer warriors, college and high school students, Knights of Columbus, parish groups that traveled on buses through the night -- everyone was there to fight the scourge of abortion and make reparation to God. As the impressive demonstration made its way up Capitol Hill to the steps of the Supreme Court, members of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) marched with their trademark red standards, and the ever-upbeat marching band, complete with brass, bagpipes and drums to encourage the crowd. TFP volunteers in ceremonial habit also formed an honor guard which carried a beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Playing in such freezing conditions is challenging. Our brass players strapped hand warmers on their instruments and frantically rubbed them to keep them from freezing. As a snare drummer I had to be careful when beating my drum because of the danger of breaking the tight drumhead in the cold.

On Monday, April 28, 2013, six TFP Student Action members travelled to downtown Philadelphia to campaign against abortion. The atmosphere was highly charged as the young men formed outside the Center for Criminal Justice, where final arguments in the murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell were taking place. Despite the freezing conditions, an immense crowd could be seen in all directions, composed mostly of young people full of enthusiasm for the cause of the unborn and the future of the family.

But opponents successfully petitioned for a referendum on the issue. A van load of motivated volunteers of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) set out for Maine and Rhode Island to help protect true marriage. The members' method was to appeal directly to the people on the street by holding signs that said, "Honk for Traditional Marriage." Having a large banner, "God's Marriage = 1 Man + 1 Woman," and the bagpipes drew lots of attention. Overwhelming Support Starting in Maine, the TFP volunteers held an average of four campaigns a day for six days, visiting 14 cities. The extraordinary support received in Waterville was a foreshadow of the support we would later see in other cities. People responded very well. Even people without horns wanted to express their support. For example, a biker said: "I don't have a horn, but beep, beep, beep." There were at least 5 honks for every negative reaction. More and more people are fed up with immorality being forced upon them. In Bangor, a gentleman said, "If homosexuality is 'marriage', what is my marriage? It's a mockery of my marriage!!" Others pointed to their marriage rings, thus, showing everyone that they were traditionally married and proud of it. At several campaign stops TFP volunteers were joined by local friends. Although the caravan only spent two days in Rhode Island there were many people in favor, especially among the youth.
