TFP Founder, Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira

Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira founded the Brazilian TFP in 1960 and inspired autonomous, sister TFPs in 25 countries, forming the world's largest network of anti-communist organizations of Catholic inspiration.
A man of faith, thought, and action, his work Revolution and Counter-Revolution continues to inspire Catholics today. A statement of the Holy See regarding his book, The Church in the Communist State: The Impossible Coexistence, fittingly describes his entire life's work: "A most faithful echo of all the documents of the Supreme Magisterium of the Church."
