Communists vs. TFP at the University of Wisconsin–Madison
“We’re going to kill you!” threatened a self-described pro-LGBT communist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
A team of volunteers with the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) is touring college campuses across the Midwest to defend the innocence of children and oppose the ravages of LGBT ideology. On April 23, they arrived at the University of Wisconsin–Madison to distribute flyers opposing gender ideology.
Despite the fact that Madison is a bastion of liberalism, many students accepted the TFP flyer, 10 Reasons Why Transgenderism is the Family’s Worst Enemy, with interest and gratitude. “I love your videos,” said one freshman. “You are brave to come to this campus. It can be hard sometimes.”
Eventually, communist agitators arrived. They shouted obscenities and incited violence against the TFP volunteers, who remained peaceful throughout. The police arrived after a pro-LGBT communist spat in the face of the TFP videographer, Miguel.
It was striking to observe the ease with which self-proclaimed communists embraced the rainbow revolution. What’s the connection? A shared disdain for the traditional family and a fanatical fixation on equality.
Communism holds that absolute liberty can only be achieved through radical egalitarianism and the destruction of private property, seen as a root cause of inequality. Likewise, the LGBT movement seeks to destroy the family unit, erase distinctions between male and female, and defy God’s design for marriage—regarding it as an oppressive obstacle to their imagined equality.
As the TFP campaign for the innocence of children progressed, accompanied by the recitation of the Holy Rosary, a group of approximately thirty pro-LGBT communists gathered. They screamed slogans such as “Support workers’ rights!” “Free Palestine!” “Down with transphobes!” and various obscene chants.
Yet, amid the noise and confusion, a woman walked calmly through the crowd and said, “Thank you for standing up for children’s innocence.”
After the Rosary concluded, the mob of communists followed the TFP volunteers back to their van. Among them was a pro-LGBT student wearing a Muslim head covering, who shouted:
“We’re gonna do you like we did the Nazis in 1945.”
A TFP volunteer replied, “God bless America! The Berlin Wall fell over 30 years ago—you lost!”
To which the leftist responded, “We’re gonna kill you all!”
The aggression continued. TFP volunteer Rafael was grabbed by the neck and pushed to the ground by one of the communists, who then fled the scene.
“I found out what ‘love and tolerance’ means for the homosexual movement,” said Rafael. “It means that if you don’t go along with the madness, the transgender tyranny will use violence to impose its agenda on you.”
Thanks be to God, Rafael was not seriously injured, and the police are currently searching for the attacker.
The TFP caravan’s next stop was a major traffic intersection in Madison, where thousands of vehicles could see the pro-family signs on display. One sign read: “Honk to Protect Children from LGBT Grooming!” Soon, the air was filled with honks and shouts of approval.
“Thank you for protecting my four grandchildren,” said one woman from her car. A schoolteacher, pleased with the campaign, added that she fights “tooth and nail to keep pornographic pro-LGBT books out of the school library.”
Please keep the TFP crusade in your prayers as it continues its journey from campus to campus throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, courageously defending moral values and the innocence of children.
