Unhinged Woman Arrested as TFP Protests “Drag Nuns”
Last year, the American TFP sent a few young volunteers to join local Catholics to hold a prayerful protest against the blasphemous Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in Guerneville, California.
These “sisters” held a drag queen story time event for children of all ages, including toddlers, at the local library.
What makes this so outrageous is that the group is known for its public debauchery that attacks the Catholic Faith in acts that include pole dancing on crosses and declaring pedophiles as “saints.”
This is the last thing any faithful Catholic—especially children—should be exposed to, and the TFP set out to make that clear.
We expected some resistance. However, when TFP volunteers arrived outside of the library last year, a large counter-protest wielding pride flags and anti-Catholic signs met them. They tried intimidation tactics. But it didn’t work. Although outnumbered, the band of faithful Catholics stood their ground with the help of a single bagpiper.
They Came Back
But a few weeks ago, Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence announced plans for another Pride Month story hour for children at the Guerneville Regional Library on June 21, 2025.
TFP volunteers had a decision to make: stay home or take action.
Petition Delivered to Library Headquarters
In response, the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) immediately launched a nationwide petition, urging the director of the Sonoma County Library system to cancel the anti-Catholic and anti-child event.
The effort gained momentum quickly, both locally and nationwide. By June 20, four TFP volunteers traveled to the Sonoma County Library Headquarters in Rohnert Park to deliver the 14,564 petitions in person.
Despite this overwhelming outcry, library officials ignored the pleas of thousands, and the drag queen story hour went ahead as planned the very next day.
Face to Face with Anti-Catholic Hatred
As we began to unload from our vans, pro-LGBT troublemakers immediately emerged from the woodwork.
Their scattered entrance paled in comparison to our beautiful procession. The three TFP bagpipers played “Immaculate Mary” as we marched to the front of the library. Our rally spanned the entire sidewalk, showing that God’s side was in full force.
While setting up our banners, we saw parents leading their children into the library building. It was sad to realize that these young ones, who had no idea what was going on, were being groomed under their parents’ watch.
We also saw two of the so-called “sisters” enter the library. Their garish attire made a caricature of Catholic nuns, a reality that made our stomachs turn.
As we prayed the rosary, a few pro-LGBT advocates began heckling us, claiming that we were not “loving” enough. What happened next exposed the hypocrisy behind these words.
Police Arrest Indecent Woman
One woman, holding a young child, walked over and loudly proclaimed how much she loved the toddler. But if she truly loved the girl, she would never expose her to the so-called “drag nuns.” After repeating her declarations for a few minutes, she took the child into the library for the blasphemous story time.
What she did next was scandalous—and would end up costing her dearly.
She reemerged from the library, screaming uncontrollably. Nothing was coherent—she had visibly lost her mind. To everyone present, demonic possession was the only way we could describe what we saw.
After dropping off the child in the library, she completely lost it.
At a certain point, she began to undress herself to the point of nudity and lewdly grab herself. She did this right in front of our prayer warriors. Children were present.
Her shrieks were unintelligible.
Immediately, a TFP volunteer called 911. The police responded quickly. They pulled her aside and interrogated her. She admitted to her guilt, as there was no escaping the concrete video evidence. The officer asked if we wanted to press charges, to which we immediately responded, “Yes.”
Thankfully, law enforcement did its job, and the woman was arrested.
She was then taken into custody and booked for indecent exposure. We are waiting to see what the next steps are in bringing justice to those who endured her vulgar actions.
The Left Falls Apart and Catholics Rejoice
After the incident, any dynamism the counter-protestors had left evaporated. They sat on the sidelines, making childish insults here and there. They had nothing to say on an ideological level. All they could come up with were petty snipes.
They could not stand seeing the joy of those attending the prayer rally. The locals who joined the TFP volunteers were smiling from ear to ear. We recited our Hail Marys with enthusiasm and vigor. Everyone attending was happy to stand up for what is right, especially where it is most attacked.
One woman who joined us from Guerneville mentioned that she believes it is the most pro-homosexual town in the country. She said that last year, she was happy to see our protest but too frightened to join us. However, she said that this year, the Holy Ghost inspired her to attend. She profusely thanked the TFP volunteers who flew in to support the local protestors and said she is already looking forward to next year’s rally.
Another local Catholic brought his young son in a stroller to pray the rosary. “It’s good to start them out young,” he said. This father stood in stark contrast to those who brought their children to the immoral library event. Ra her than exposing his son to blasphemy and gender ideology, he wants him to grow up fighting for moral values.
A few moments later, he added, “I’ve always seen your videos, but being here is ten times better. Especially the bagpipes. You don’t realize how intense these rallies are just from watching.”
Truth brings joy to souls, and this reality triggers the liberal conscience. That is precisely why their counter-protest fell flat on its face.
What Can We Take Away from All This?
Although this sickening story time event took place, this prayerful protest was a definitive victory. There are four reasons why.
First, we showed the “drag nuns” that they cannot scare Catholics away. When they threw everything they had at us last year, we did not run away. Instead, we showed up with more banners, more bagpipes, and more people.
Second, this campaign alerted thousands of Catholics all over the country about these blasphemous story hours. Now, local “sisters” groups will have a harder time expanding their evildoings, as thousands of faithful souls will be on guard.
Third, the event demonstrated that young people, like our volunteers, are willing to stand up for good morals. Not surprisingly, the other side was over-represented by older liberals. The future is with those who attract youth, not those who impose their agenda on very young children.
Finally, and most importantly, someone was there to make reparation for God. This immoral drag group incorporates so many grave sins into its persona that it is hard to keep track of them all. Each of these sins offends God deeply and calls out to heaven for vengeance.
That is why this public act of reparation was so important. If we had not shown up, no one else would have, and no atonement would have been made. It would have encouraged the outrages to continue.
Instead, dozens of rosaries and Marian hymns were offered to God. It sent a message to the other side that faithful Catholics will challenge immoral events that harm children’s innocence.
For these four reasons, this protest was a resounding victory for God, the Church, and America’s children.
