Americans Will Not Kowtow to Communist China
Unusual praise has been heaped on communist China, a country where people who have COVID-19 are brutally bolted into their homes, and where invasive state surveillance is becoming the rule.
Meanwhile, China is offering to “help” western countries in their fight against coronavirus. What aid does the communist regime offer?
According to NBC News, China sent faulty ventilators to the UK which British doctors described as capable of causing "significant patient harm, including death." China sent 600,000 defective face masks to the Netherlands, reported Business Insider. And Fox News informs us that China exported faulty COVID-19 test kits to other countries.
However, communist China is still held up as a shining model for Western countries to follow as they fight the virus.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has kowtowed to communist China. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO’s director-general, said: "We appreciate the seriousness with which China is taking this outbreak, especially the commitment from top leadership, and the transparency they have demonstrated."
But many Americans are not fooled. In fact, TFP Student Action volunteers witnessed first-hand what the average American thinks when they held a recent rosary rally in Lancaster, Penn. on May 10, 2020.
The campaign started with the recitation of the rosary while a banner reading, “COVID harms the body. Sin kills the soul. Let’s turn back to God,” was displayed along Harrisburg Pike in visible position.
The public’s response was excellent. The enthusiasm was tangible as many cars erupted into honks while people gave thumbs up and waved to show support. The most popular sign read “Honk Against Communist China.”
“Coronavirus is being used as an excuse to spread socialism,” said TFP volunteer Gregory Oehl. “The churches are closed and government control is greater than ever imaginable.”
As always, there were a few vocal leftists who did seem to follow their very own passion for tolerance. “I hope you get sick and die!” yelled one. Another pulled up and asked, “What’s wrong with socialism? I like free money.”
Overall, the TFP Student Action campaign was a terrific hit and a great way to warn more people about the real dangers lurking behind the coronavirus and the communist “solutions” made in China.
We must look to Our Lady, not China, for a true solution to the present crisis. Any solution without God at the center will undoubtedly fail.
