Those who hate God, love Fr. James Martin's Pro-LGBT Agenda
“If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you” (John 15:18).
“Reparation! Reparation! Reparation!” echoed through the streets of an upscale neighborhood in Haverford, Pennsylvania, as a group of Catholics gathered to pray a Rosary of reparation.
The band of thirty Catholics gathered at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, to make reparation for a video talk delivered by pro-homosexual Jesuit, Fr. James Martin.
Sadly, the talk was hosted by a group of Catholic sisters, the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose vocation is clearly stated: “The mission of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is Reparation.”
However, Fr. Martin has been promoting homosexuality within the Catholic Church for years. More recently, he transmitted a blasphemous image, used by pro-abortion activists in Poland, that depicts Our Lady of Czestochowa and the Child Jesus with a rainbow halos.
Dozens of Catholics, reinforced by a group of TFP Student Action volunteers, stood on the public sidewalk on Coopertown Road, near the St. Raphaela Center, while they prayed the rosary, sang Catholic hymns, and held signs.
A large banner explained to passersby the purpose of the peaceful rally: “We support Catholic teaching and reject Fr. Martin’s attempt to normalize homosexual acts.” Other signs ran, “Love God, hate sin,” “sodomy is not a family value,” Purity yes – Lust no,” “If you love God, keep his commandments,” and “true compassion leads to virtue, not vice.”
Local Liberals React
Leo Fitzsimmons, who led the rally, observed: “we are a small band of Catholics, but we are surrounded tens of thousands of angels.”
As the Hail Mary rang out across the street, curious locals came out to see what was happening.
The peaceful atmosphere didn’t last long. Two angry men came out of a nearby house. One of them planted a rainbow/transgender flag in front of his house, while the other yelled over a bullhorn at the praying Catholics, “you’re not welcome here!”
Attempting to interrupt the Rosary, the pro-LGBT advocate targeted the Catholic children who were present: “Children, it’s ok! You can escape from your parents when you’re eighteen! Or you become emancipated when you’re sixteen or seventeen…”
One of the TFP members responded: “Leave the children alone.” -- “Stop attacking the parents and stop attacking the children. If you love God you would keep His commandments.”
“Huh, huh, huh” the man scoffed. “Love thy neighbor, you’re not my neighbor. You took everything for everybody. Catholics! You started all the Crusades!”
Meanwhile, a man in a pickup truck yelled, “I’ve read eleven different Bibles, from start to finish, and none of them said [you can] hate people like this…” He was so angry that he got out of his truck and continued ranting and insulting.
Four police officers arrived, which helped subdue several screaming leftists who repeatedly walked into the street.
False vs. Real Catholics
The Rosary rally showed the difference between the faithful Catholics who stand up for the teachings of the Catholic Church and those who call themselves Catholic, but support homosexual vice and other errors.
The peaceful protest finished with the beautiful hymn to Our Lady, the Salve Regina. Afterwards the participants lingered to talk and express they joyful willingness to defend God’s holy law.
“This is part of the mission,” one man observed. “Our job is to take a hit, come out in the streets and pray for these people and let them know…let them know where their transgressions are… just doing the lord’s work.”
May God accept our prayers of reparation and protect the Church from wolves disguised in sheep’s clothing, especially Fr. James Martin.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.
