The Final Battle: God vs. Satan

“The final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan
will be about marriage and the family!”

-- Sister Lucia to Cardinal Caffara

Dear Defender of the Family:
The spiritual war over marriage and homosexual sin has shifted from the U. S. Supreme Court to the Catholic Church.

See this revealing quote from The New York Times:

“[Mitchell] Gold told me that church leaders must be made (our emphasis) ‘to take homosexuality off the sin list.’” (NYT, 4-3-15)

Even worse:
The liberal German Cardinal Walter Kasper told the Italian newspaper Corriere della Serathat the topic of same-sex couples at the last Synod was “only a marginal topic, but now it becomes central.”

And -- shockingly -- Cardinal Kasper defended the Irish vote in favor of homosexual “marriage,” saying:

“A democratic state has the duty to respect the will of the people; and it seems clear that, if the majority of the people wants such homosexual unions, the state has a duty to recognize such rights.” (LifeSiteNews.com, 05-29-15)

So Sister Lucia was right.

The final battle is about marriage and family.
And that is why the Synod on the family, scheduled in Rome this coming October 2015, where Cardinal Kasper will be one of the presenters, is so critical.

That’s why I pray you will...

please share it too. Because the Catholic Church is under attack.

And you and I know that as the Church goes, so goes the world.

At stake: Marriage and the family as God intended it to be.

The threat: Acceptance of divorce, cohabitation and some sort of recognition of homosexuality as something positive.

The risk: The Catholic Church being pushed into universal schism.

You see, many leftist bishops in Rome will try to contradict Our Lord’s teaching on marriage in the upcoming Synod on the Family in 2015.

It actually already happened in October of 2014, but they lacked a majority.

But there are many good bishops and cardinals on the right side. And we the faithful can do our small bit by supporting the good bishops.

And many small bits can become a big bit and make a big difference.

So please ask the Pope to stand firm in the upcoming Synod on the Family.

Join the 483,000 who are speaking up for true marriage.

It is especially important now.

Some people struggle with this appeal; they don’t see why we need to do this appeal to Pope Francis. The answer is simple: Sending our support for Catholic teaching won’t hurt… and it will only help.

Thank you for fighting the good fight.
