TFP in Dallas: "Don't Mess with Texas, Don't Mess with Marriage"
Dallas, Texas
"You're awesome!" two young women yelled from their car. They were driving in the center lane of a three lane intersection and had "front seats" to observe the TFP's traditional marriage campaign in Dallas, Texas. They were delighted when the cars around them joined the noisy honking to support true marriage.
Braving warm Texas temperatures that hit 109 degrees, the demonstration for marriage truly was an awesome sight. In accordance with the old adage, "everything's bigger in Texas," volunteers from several southern states joined forces to make the tour for God's marriage in Texas the biggest yet.
With Scottish bagpipes skirling, car horns honking, and the trademark red standards of the TFP serenely soaring overhead, Texans were happy to show their opposition against the homosexual movement, something the liberal media refuses to fairly report. The mainstream media wants people to think that the struggle to protect natural marriage is over and refuse to give airtime to the voice of most Americans who want to preserve family values. Pro-family America gets zero attention. Yet Bruce Jenner and his transgender agenda gets ample coverage.
That's why it's so exciting to meet Americans on the street and see what they really think.
Widespread Support
Suddenly, a black car slowed down in the middle of the road. With it's window rolled down, the TFP members prepared for what sometimes happens: a flying projectile from the "tolerant." However, a friendly face peered out saying, "Can we get you something? Water? Gatorade?... Anything? We saw you're sign and said 'Amen!'"
Moments later, the two teenagers arrived with a welcome gift: 48 bottles of water and big bag of chips.
Two police officers arrived and reassured the TFP volunteers that their demonstration was being conducted properly on the public sidewalk. "Don't worry," said the lead officer, "we're keeping an eye out for you. Just call us if you need any help. We got your back."
A new slogan was inaugurated today: "Don't Mess with Texas! Don't Mess with Marriage!" It resonates with Texans, naturally.
During our travels, many families have opened their homes to us and provided us with delicious meals and a place to rest. We are so grateful to them for all their hospitality and support. Their kindness makes the tour for marriage much easier. Pray for them.
God bless America and protect our great nation from the pro-homosexual dictatorship.
