Values Voter Summit Gathers True Conservatives
From October 10-12, volunteers of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) attended the annual Values Voter Summit at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. Since 2006 the conference, hosted by the Family Research Council, gathers American social conservatives from across the nation. This year speakers included Senators Ted Cruz and Rick Santorum, talk-show hosts, and a variety of pro-family experts and leaders.
In the exhibition hall conference goers met like-minded organizations such as the Family Research Council, the National Organization for Marriage, Liberty Counsel, The Heritage Foundation, American Values and the American Family Association. Lively discussions on morality and economics erupted around the TFP booth that featured the timely book Return to Order by John Horvat II.
One of the most popular TFP handouts was “10 Reasons Why Homosexual 'Marriage' is Harmful and Must be Opposed.”
It was encouraging to see thousands of Americans united to defend moral values and oppose the socialization of our culture. There is a ponderable counter-revolutionary reaction in the United States. May God and His Blessed Mother strengthen America with wisdom to face and overcome the moral and economic storm before us.
