"Smoke of Satan" Enters Catholic Le Moyne College with Impure Drag Show

Unfortunately, the "smoke of Satan" is spreading on Catholic campuses. This time Catholic Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, is planning its second annual "drag show" on March 10 in the Grewen Auditorium. (See the college's announcement here)

The lewd event flatly undermines moral values and is being promoted on the college's web site as a "fun event for everyone! Learn about drag culture ettiquet [sic], enter prize raffles, and dance!"

An advertisement for the event attacks human nature by displaying a human face that is a mixture of male and female. Here is the inappropriate tweet promoting the pro-homosexual show.

The "show" is promoted by a group on campus called "Creating Awareness & Reaching Equality." The same group supports same-sex "marriage" and other sins that violate Catholic moral teaching. Not only is the drag show at odds with the mission statement of the college which "strives for academic excellence in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition," but it also undermines its Mission and Identity statement:

"Le Moyne College provides students with an exceptional liberal arts education, inspired and enriched by the Catholic intellectual, social and spiritual traditions, and distinguished by the rigorous pursuit of meaning and truth characteristic of 470 years of Jesuit education. To strengthen the distinct ethos and quality of Jesuit education at Le Moyne, the College will expand and coordinate programs for Ignatian formation and spiritual growth."

"The rock-solid truth is this: The Rainbow Revolution's impurity doesn't belong in Catholic education," said TFP Student Action Director, John Ritchie. "Catholic students don't want unnatural vice flaunted on their Catholic campuses," he said. "That's why I'm hoping Le Moyne College president, Dr. Fred Pestello, will quickly put the kibosh on this unseemly spectacle. It's time to start tolerating truth and purity."

"TFP Student Action is asking its members to send a peaceful message to Dr. Pestello, urging him to cancel the drag show on March 10," Ritchie continued. "The protest petition will console the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Who are already so much offended by sin," he said.

Politely yet firmly call Le Moyne College at 315-445-4120.
