Pomona College Attacks God with "Queering" the Bible Course. Join the Protest.

"Queer Theory and the Bible" is a blasphemous course offered at Pomona College in Claremont, California, and taught by Prof. Erin Runions, a self-described activist of "feminist and queer organizing."
"This course will look at how the Bible can be read productively through queer theory," the one-credit course description reads. "We will examine biblical passages that are central to prohibitions on homosexuality and the larger discourses of heteronormativity... in which homophobic readings of the Bible emerge."
It adds: "We will also look at the ways in which these discourses and the identities they shore up can be 'queered,' as well as at biblical texts that can be read as queer friendly. This process of queering will allow and require us to approach the biblical text in new ways."
In other words, the homosexual movement is twisting the truth of the Bible and calling blasphemy "religious education."
Enough is enough! Please tell Pomona College that blasphemy is not -- and never will be -- a feature of true higher learning, but only a symptom of academic decay.
