Catholic DePaul University Falls for Woke Pro-Transgender Pronoun Nonsense -- Sign the Protest
- April 06, 2022
The largest Catholic university in America is now allowing students to choose from nine different options to describe their “gender identity,” four options for preferred pronouns, and nine more options for “sexual orientation” on its online campus portal.
DePaul University’s Campus Connect web portal has added these “identities” which distort, confuse and undermine God’s plan for mankind.
On January 4, DePaul’s Student Government association announced the addition on its Instagram page: “Students, there have been a few (very exciting) updates to Campus Connect’s student self-service so that students have more options under biographic details. In addition to the Legal Gender, students may now also include a Gender Identity.”
The portal’s “gender identity” options include:
- Cigender (sic)I do not self-identify
- Intersex
- Non-binary
- Transgender female
- Transgender male
Plural pronouns “They/Theirs” are available for singular individuals.
“Sexual orientation” options include:
- AsexualBisexual
- Gay
- Heterosexual
- Lesbian
- Pansexual
- Queer
For many years, unfortunately, DePaul University has allowed the homosexual movement to operate on campus with reckless abandon.
For example:
- The DePaul Speech and Language Clinic gives “gender-affirming voice therapy” to aid “transgender” people to change their natural voices to sound more similar to the opposite sex.
- Spectrum DePaul is a pro-LGBT student organization that has hosted yearly drag queen shows on campus and posted pictures of St. Vincent de Paul holding a rainbow flag.
- Other pro-LGBT student organizations include Act OUT and Queer People of Color DePaul.
Although DePaul University was founded by The Congregation of the Mission in 1898 and is named after St. Vincent de Paul, its good name has been tarnished by an onslaught of sinful activities designed to normalize unnatural vice.
Despite the profound crisis within Holy Mother Church, faithful Catholics must not relinquish the truth but remain steadfast because “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8). More than ever, faithful Catholics must defend the good name of St. Vincent DePaul and defend moral values even when it is difficult or unpopular to do so.
