Catholic School Board OKs “Pride Month” and Rainbow Flags at 59 Schools -- Join Protest

Everyone who loves God should oppose this act of apostasy.

On March 1, 2022, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) in Ontario, Canada, declared June to be “Pride Month.” In other words, the month once dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus was usurped.

According to reports:

“For the first time ever, Hamilton’s Catholic schools will fly the rainbow flag in honour of Pride Month this June.” (Insuaga.com, March 2, 2022)

“Trustees approved a motion to fly the [rainbow] flag outside all schools and other board properties this June, and all Junes going forward, in a 6-3 vote. (Global News, March 3, 2022)

What a slap against Our Lord. Instead of honoring God, the school board is serving the homosexual revolution and exposing children to its lies.

Remember what Our Lord said about those who harm children: “It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones” (Luke 17:2).

Can you please be a loud voice for the innocent?

1. Your signature represents a small act of love for God and His Law. It is a formal prayer of reparation to Him for the blatant promotion of sin within the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic school district.

2. Your signature sends a clear message that legions of Catholics are standing up for the innocence of our children. We will never give up the TRUTH, but continue to oppose the pro-homosexual revolution in the Church and in society.

3. Your signature is a sincere cry to Heaven, begging God and His Blessed Mother to intercede and intervene on our behalf and put an end to so much corruption in our culture.

I am appalled by the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board’s recent decision to celebrate “Pride Month” and fly pro-homosexual rainbow “Pride” flags at all Catholic schools in your jurisdiction “in support of all 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff.”

What flag will be next? Will Catholic schools fly Planned Parenthood flags to be more inclusive towards pro-abortion students and staff?

Unnatural vice should be rejected, not celebrated. The Catechism of the Catholic Church confirms what the Church has taught for 2,000 years: Homosexual vice is “intrinsically disordered” and “contrary to natural law” (2357).

However, countless innocent children will now be scandalized by the prominent display of rainbow flags – a notorious symbol of sin – on school grounds. Moreover, our Divine Savior severely rebuked those responsible for causing such harm. “It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones” (Luke 17:2).

Therefore, for the eternal salvation of souls, and to avoid further scandal, I respectfully urge you to reverse the board’s immoral pro-homosexual policy. Don’t celebrate the sin of Lucifer: Pride. Instead, teach children about the infinite perfections of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Whose month true Catholics celebrate during the month of June.
